the laythers tool was tossed by a worker, or lost in the back yard.the littlest child found it and placed it in his lunch pail. It was he who brought it to the park and brought it out at the tunnel where teacher smith saw him with it. It broke after 3 hits because it was rotten

I have a picture of Japanese children and their parents being lead away to the camps some time in the 1940's. This would prove that the leather helmets were available in Vancouver area around 1945. The second helmet was removed from the second childs head and tossed..then he was struck twice.
